BlueJay Theater Collective

BlueJay Theatre Collective makes strides toward acceptance and togetherness by uniting a multitude of people all with a shared common goal: to make theater. Theater makers have been stretching the creative boundaries for centuries. We at BlueJay want to celebrate this expansion by uplifting stories of the modern day. And in doing so, we will provide opportunities for performers to feel personally connected to the characters they portray. We aim to reflect on and depict these honest stories in the hopes that they will impact the audience beyond the world of theater. BlueJay is an inclusive, accepting, and collaborative work environment that encourages growth and learning as a collective and aspires to inspire. We want to cultivate environments that nurture joy and excitement for the art we create in order to influence the communities that surround us. But most importantly, we wish to foster an equitable and unbiased space for all.
