Self-Producing for the Empowered Artist

Gregory Crafts ’03 is an award-winning, critically acclaimed creative multi-hyphenate with almost three decades of experience as an actor, playwright, and producer under his belt.

In this two-hour workshop, Greg will talk about the self-producing process for both stage and screen. He’ll touch on a wide range of critical topics like finding the right venue, budgeting, fundraising, marketing, and why you should never direct yourself or your own material.

Attendees will discuss an overview of the technology and team/communication skills necessary to work on a remote team. By the end of this session, learners will understand how the technology available to them to work outside of the office, and they’ll be exposed to tips and tricks for building accountability and ensuring support on their teams during this time.

Understanding Slack

Learners will understand how Slack works to communicate in channels and via direct message, on desktop and on mobile. After reviewing key functionality, attendees will discuss tips and tricks for getting the most out of Slack for themselves and their teams.

Bright Lights at Home: ‘I Am Mother’

A sci-fi thriller about a teenage girl (Clara Rugaard) who is the first of a new generation of humans to be raised by Mother (Rose Byrne), a robot designed to repopulate the earth after the extinction of humankind. The pair’s unique relationship is threatened when an injured stranger arrives with news that calls into question everything Daughter has been old about the outside world and her Mother’s intentions.

Reflection Room: Drop-in hours for prayer and meditation

The CSL’s Reflection Room is open for drop-in use every Monday and Wednesday from 12-3pm. Utilize the prayer cushions, piano, guitar and enjoy a quiet moment in this peaceful oasis. 
 
Please note that there is also a Private Prayer and Meditation Room (4th floor of 172 Tremont Street) open for drop-in use anytime the building is open!
