Projecting Connections: ‘Rally’

March 8 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm EST

Rally tells the story of controversial, but undeniably influential, political activist Rose Pak. After fleeing the Cultural Revolution with her family, then growing up in Macau, Pak came to the United States to become a journalist before being swept up in the progressive movement of the 1970s. So deep in the power structure of city government, those who ran for office gave her the moniker of kingmaker.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with filmmaker Rooth Tang and Leverett Wing, president and CEO, Commonwealth Seminar, and moderated by Carolyn Chou, director, Home for All Massachusetts.

Emerson students, faculty and staff can get one free ticket to any ArtsEmerson show on the day of the event, and can purchase up to two $10 theatre tickets in advance. Visit ArtsEmerson for more information.
