Sacred Nations: Short Films by Contemporary Indigenous Storytellers

Curated by Lisa Simmons, MA ’17, founder/president of The Color of Film Collaborative (TCOF), this program celebrates the rich cultural tapestry of Indigenous communities around the world. The program features carefully selected films that illuminate the stories, traditions, and struggles of Indigenous peoples, offering a powerful platform for their voices to be heard.  TCOF is an organization of actors producers, directors, and others interested in supporting positive images of people of color in film, theatre, and other media, and is a co-producer of the Roxbury Film Festival. Discussion with curator Simmons and filmmakers to follow.
