Launch Event: Transforming Narratives of Gun Violence

Emerson’s Engagement Lab, the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute, and the Center for Gun Prevention at Massachusetts General Hospital are launching a Boston-based collaboration to explore narrative interventions to interrupt the gun violence crisis through media, arts, and communication.  

Speakers include Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, Boston City Councilor Andrea Campbell, Louis D. Brown Peace Institute President Clementina Chery, MGH Center for Gun Violence Prevention Co-Directors Dr. Peter Masiakos and Chana Sacks, Emerson Interim President Bill Gilligan, and MGH President Dr. David Brown. Moderated by Engagement Lab Director Eric Gordon.
