Jacked January Week 1: Free!

Join Anime@Emerson in the Cultural Center on Friday, January 19th for our first screening of Jacked January! Our screening for the week is Free!, which will be followed by a group discussion.
What is Anime@Emerson?
Anime@Emerson is Emerson’s only anime club! We meet every Friday in the Cultural Center at 8 pm to watch the first three episodes of whatever anime we are screening for the week. These screenings are followed by discussion questions, which we all take the time to consider. We carefully choose each of our weekly screenings according to a monthly theme. For example, this month’s theme is Jacked January so we are watching sports animes for the month of January!
About this Week’s Screening: Free!
Free! revolves around members of a high school boys’ swimming team. Haruka Nanase, Makoto Tachibana, Rin Matsuoka and Nagisa Hazuki are members of the same swimming club in elementary school before parting ways, when Rin moves to Australia for schooling and specialized training in swimming.
