The Prison in Twelve Landscapes is a remarkable documentary about the penitentiary in the U.S., directed by Brett Story. The film explores the consequences of the prison industrial complex on different marginalized communities, including an Appalachian coal town, a Bronx warehouse, and the Ferguson neighborhood where Michael Brown was killed.
The free screening will be followed by a Q&A with Emerson Prison Initiative Acting Director Cara Moyer-Duncan and Associate Professor Yasser Munif.
