Box Of Doom Slam Competition

On Monday, April 11th, 2021… at 8PM… In Little Building 227… we compete for glory! The Box of Doom is a competitive poetry event consisting of the worst of what literature has to offer.
We want your favorite tumblr textposts and tiktok sounds! We want cringy song lyrics and quotes! Slam poets will be performing bad works of art, all submitted by you! If you have any material you would like to see read at the slam, please submit it to this Google Forum. We will be distributing these works randomly to competing poets the night of the event.
The Emerson Poetry Project (EPP) is dedicated to building a community of writers who want to share their original work, receive helpful feedback, and improve their craft through the medium of performance poetry. Every voice is important, and EPP provides an open environment in which anyone and everyone is welcome to contribute. We hold weekly meetings consisting of open mics, slams, featured poets, and workshops.
