Five Emerson Filmmakers Called ‘Ones to Watch’ by WBUR

WBUR, a Boston-based NPR affiliate, is screening a “Ones to Watch” Film Festival featuring a program of four films – all of which were directed or co-directed by Emersonians.
Films include The Air Before Me by Shaun Clarke, MFA ’12, Chair of the Visual and Media Arts Department; Phantasma by Maria Servellón, MFA ’18; Periphery, co-directed by Brittany Severance, MA ’10, MFA ’20 and Herman E. Servatius, MA ’19; and The Thaw, co-directed by Sean Temple, MFA ’16 and Sarah Wisner.
Following the screening, they will talk about making and financing films and building audiences with moderator Sean Burns. The event is Wednesday, March 19, 7:00 pm, at WBUR’s CitySpace, and is part of the station’s “Ones to Watch: Boston’s Emerging Artists,” series featuring up and coming local artists in a variety of genres.
