Communication Studies senior affiliated faculty and Big Fish PR CEO David Richard shares his perspective on an impending TikTok decision in the United States on or around January 19, which the Supreme Court may rule on mid-week.
Richard says the functionality of the app will gradually decline, it will no longer be downloadable, and for influencers and companies who make money from it, they will be out of business:
“If [TikTok] goes away, it’s like suddenly getting let go from a job.”
