Emerson-Produced Films Pick Up Golden Globes

The Brutalist, executive produced by Max Kondziolka ’16, won Best Motion Picture – Drama at the 82nd annual Golden Globes Awards on Sunday, January 5.

The film tells the story of Hungarian Jewish architect Laszlo Toth. It also won Best Director – Motion Picture (Brady Corbet) and Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama, for star Adrien Brody.

Earlier in the evening, Hacks, co-executive produced by Joe Mande ’05, who has a recurring role on the show, won Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy. And Jennifer Coolidge ’85, who won a Golden Globe in 2023 for her role in The White Lotus, presented Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.
