Flynn’s Film Doc to Hit TV Screens

Peter Flynn’s latest documentary, Film Is Dead, Long Live Film! has made the festival rounds this year, scooping up awards. Now, it will land in cable viewers’ living rooms when it makes it television debut on Turner Classic Movies: TCM on Sunday, November 17, 10:00 pm EST.

The doc is about the demise of analog film in the digital age, and the people who are working to preserve it.

“It’s looking at the last generation of people who interact with photochemical film. Baby Boomers, predominantly. The future of film is finite. This film was an attempt to capture analog cinephilia before it’s really gone,” Flynn told Emerson Today in September.
