Clarke & Ryan on Film School Trends: Filmmaker Magazine

Visual and Media Arts Chair Shaun Clarke and associate professor Mike Ryan speak to the current film offerings at the College, as the industry is ever-evolving, from changes such as streaming and labor strikes affecting the field, to name a few.

Clarke:

Clarke and Ryan point to the recent successes of alumni Daniel Kwan, Daniel Scheinert, Tyler Taormina, and Carson Lund as filmmakers whose “hybrid” styles are producing impactful work early in their careers.
