Emersonians Garner WGA Award Noms for SNL, Jeopardy!, Star Trek, Among Others

A septet of Emerson alums was nominated for Writers Guild of America Awards for a varied array of genres, including comedy, drama, sci-fi, sketch series, quiz shows, and more.

Marcos Gonzalez ’16 is part of a team that was nominated for two awards, Comedy Series and New Series, for Jury Duty.

Annie Mebane ’03 is part of a team nominated for New Series for Shrinking.

Judalina Neira ’04 is part of a team nominated for Limited Series for Daisy Jones & The Six, which is based on a novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid ’05.

Terry Matalas ’98 received a nomination for Episodic Drama for “The Last Generation,” an episode of Star Trek: Picard.

Opus Moreschi ’00 is part of a team nominated for Comedy/Variety Talk Series for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Rosebud Baker ’06 is part of a team nominated for Comedy/Variety Sketch Series for Saturday Night Live.

Marcus Brown ’11 is part of a team nominated for Quiz and Participation for Jeopardy!.
