Gerzof Richard on Twitter, Facebook Controversies: WBZ & NBC Boston

Communication Studies faculty and BIGfish PR CEO David Gerzof Richard weighed in on the new (and brief) Twitter policy “Twitter Blue,” a paid subscription policy enacted by new Twitter CEO Elon Musk that has significant credibility issues, and Facebook/Meta’s layoff of 11,000 employees.


Twitter is based on credibility, and this blue check literally was a check on the barbarians at the gate. It is what made reporters and journalists stand out from the everyday conspiracy theorists. Once that wall came down, everybody was at the same level, and who do you believe?
