Boston Campus Updates for Week of January 24

Hello,

We wanted to share a few updates regarding Boston campus operations for the week of January 24.  Our thanks to everyone for navigating through this past week, particularly in light of the colder weather.

The following adjustments to operations will go into effect starting Monday, January 24.

Fitness Center– The center will open to the campus community for regular use.

Dining Facilities- Seating options will begin to be available in the Dining Center.  Seating capacity will be reduced from typical levels, and we ask for your cooperation and assistance in maintaining designated density levels.  Seating capacity will be increased in the Lion’s Den, Max Grille, and Paramount Cafe, but will still operate with reduced density per table.  Grab-and-go options will still be available at all locations.  Please see the dining page on the College website for more information. *Students in days 6-10 of their isolation period should still utilize the grab-and-go food options.

Space Book- Reservations are available for in-person group meetings and events.  We ask your help and cooperation to ensure appropriate capacity levels and monitor that all participants wear appropriate face masks at all times.  In the interest of public health, no food distribution/service will be permitted at events/meetings until further notice.

Student Organizations- Group events and meetings can resume.  Please note the guidelines outlined in the Space Book section above.

Athletics-Members of the Emerson community are now invited to attend on-campus athletic competitions.  No external guests are permitted at this time.
