Library Providing Access to Chronicle of Higher Ed

The Chronicle of Higher Education is the recognized authority on issues related to the higher education industry and with the landscape changing daily, access to this vital resource is more important than ever. Therefore, the Iwasaki Library is happy to announce that we now provide a full-access subscription to the Chronicle

To access:

  1. Go to https://www.chronicle.com/
  2. Create an account: use your Emerson.edu email address and list Emerson College as your institution (start typing and you’ll be able to select it from a list)
  3. You’ll receive a confirmation email in a few minutes which will allow you to create a password
  4. Every time you go to the Chronicle’s site, log in with your account and enjoy! Look for the “Premium Access Provided by Emerson College” in the upper right./Users/c_schneiderman/Desktop/Screen Shot 2020-07-08 at 10.20.39 AM.png

An account will let you save and share articles, but you don’t have to create an account if you don’t want to: you can access the Chronicle through the Library’s database list or by bookmarking http://library.emerson.edu/databases/chronicle.html (Emerson log-in required). The Chronicle’s site is the best place to access current articles, but you can search the full-text archives back to 1989 in the Library’s Multisearch.

This subscription is available to all members of the Emerson community and will allow faculty and departments to reallocate funds previously spent on individual subscriptions. Contact Procurement if you have questions about canceling your subscription.
