Sidewalk Construction Update

Dear Emerson Community, 

Please be advised that CONSTRUCTION WORK WILL OCCUR TONIGHT, FRIDAY, 1/10, from 6:00 pm to 2:00 am. The work will include:

• Paving the roadway near 80 Boylston Street
• Adjusting construction barriers and demobilizing from completed sidewalk at Little Building
• Staging new area for underground/sidewalk vault work to begin

The following ongoing work will be performed next week from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm on Monday, January 13, 2020, through Friday, January 17, 2020:

• Concrete placement at 116 Boylston Street
• Concrete demolition around existing vault  
• Construction of a temporary vault cover 
• Saw cutting new concrete at 116 Boylston Street
• Prep area for concrete pour at 116 Boylston Street
• Make ready area at 114 Boylston Street for concrete
