Greg D’Angelo Named Director of Special Projects for President’s Office

Dear members of the Emerson Community,

It gives me great pleasure to announce that Gregory (Greg) D’Angelo has accepted the position of Director of Special Projects in the Office of the President. Greg will be working on a variety of special projects and assignments in the President’s Office and will serve as the primary liaison to the Board of Advisors.

Greg comes to us most recently from Tufts University where he was the Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs and previously from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts where he was the Associate Vice President of Academic Administration. Prior to his career in higher education, Greg was employed at Chal Productions and worked on a variety of film and theatre projects in NY. Some of his favorites include SalomeChinese Coffee and Looking for Richard. He has an MFA in Theatre Directing from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts and a BA in Fine Arts Theatre from Saint Michael’s College.

Greg’s first day will be on Monday, July 8.  I hope you will join me in welcoming him to our community.

Thanks,
Anne
Associate Vice President & Special Assistant to the President
