Announcement regarding Mike Sarra, Associate Vice President of Marketing

I am writing to inform you that Mike Sarra, Associate Vice President of Marketing, will be leaving Emerson College on June 11, 2019 to become the Vice President for Communications at New England Conservatory.

Since joining Emerson in 2014, Mike has contributed greatly to the rise in national and international awareness of the College and provided strong leadership of the College’s talented marketing team. Mike led the comprehensive repositioning of Emerson’s brand and the modernization of the College’s digital and print marketing campaigns, strategies, and collateral. Mike and his team have designed and engineered a new website that will better reflect Emerson’s inspiring community and leadership in the arts, communication, and the liberal arts; a preview of the site will be available to the community shortly.

Before coming to Emerson, Mike served as Director of Marketing, Communications, and Visitor Experience at New York University, where he led a team responsible for external-facing marketing and communications efforts. Previously, Mike served in marketing and communications roles at the University of Connecticut, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, and a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration.

I thank Mike for his strategic, creative, and thoughtful work and for his many significant contributions to the College, and I ask that you join me in wishing him well.

Sincerely,

Ron Korvas

Vice President of Institutional Advancement
