Be Part of the Fraternity Sorority Community

Wanting to become a member of Fraternity and Sorority Life can feel intimidating and overwhelming. You’ve probably heard stories from friends at other colleges about their rush week and pledging and how stressful the process can be.

At Emerson, we strive to create a recruitment process that helps any student find an organization best suited for them, as well as a new member education process that prepares potential new members for joining one of our esteemed organizations.

Because joining a fraternity or sorority is a serious commitment, both in time and resources, Student Leadership and Engagement hosts New Member Info Sessions prior to the start of the recruitment process. All students going through recruitment are required to attend one of these hour-long sessions. These mandatory informational sessions, all held in the Multipurpose Room, will give you the resources and tools to be more prepared during FSL Recruitment:

Wednesday, January 23 at 12:00 pm

Thursday, January 24 at 12:00 pm

Monday, January 28 at 5:00 pm

Tuesday, January 29 at 5:00 pm

Wednesday, January 30 at 6:00 pm

From there, we encourage you to get to know our chapters better! Chapters will be holding informational events during the first two weeks of classes, and this is your opportunity to get to know them better.

If you attended an info session in the fall and did not accept a bid, you do not have to attend one this semester.

If you have any questions, please contact FSL Council directly at fslcouncil@emerson.edu
We’re excited to get to know you!
