Senior Distinguished Producer-in-Residence Linda Reisman’s latest film, Leave No Trace, won the Grand Jury Prize for Narrative Feature at the Independent Film Festival Boston last week.

Leave No Trace, which premiered at Sundance in January, also will screen at the Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes later this month, and will be released in theaters on June 29. Debra Granik (Winter’s Bone) co-wrote and directed the film, based on the novel My Abandonment by Peter Rock.

“We are honored to be part of Directors’ Fortnight this year at Cannes, and to have also received such warm and enthusiastic responses at regional film festivals over these past several weeks,” Reisman said. “Our Grand Jury Prize at the Independent Film Festival Boston is especially rewarding.”

The film, which was co-written with Anne Rossellini, stars Ben Foster and Thomasin McKenzie as a father and daughter who live on a nature preserve near Portland, Oregon until a small mistake sends them on an erratic journey to find a new home.

Reisman previously was an executive producer on The Danish Girl (2015), which was nominated for four Academy Awards and won for Best Supporting Actress (Alicia Vikander).
