Ploughshares on Amazon’s ’Best of Year’ list
A collection of digital short stories released by Emerson-based Ploughshares was recently designated as one of the best of the year to be sold on Amazon.com.
Ploughshares Solos, a series of digital short stories and essays designed for tablets and mobile devices, are produced and sold by Ploughshares literary magazine.
This month, Amazon.com’s book editors placed Ploughshares Solos on its “Best of the Year So Far 2014: Kindle Singles” list, which promotes visibility of the stories on Amazon, the world’s largest online retailer. The list highlights “must reads” that were released between January and June of this year.
Selling between $0.99 and $2.99 apiece, the recent short stories (about 50 pages long) include The Outside Passage by Brendan Jones and Phoenix by Megan Mayhew Bergman.
Authors regularly submit manuscripts to editor-in-chief Ladette Randolph for review and publication if selected.
