Em Magazine wins publishing award

Em Magazine for the second year in a row has won a first-place Pinnacle Award from the Printing Industries of New England (PINE).

The announcement was made this month at the PINE 2014 Industry Awards Gala. A panel of judges with extensive experience in print production chose Em based on clarity and neatness, sharpness of halftones and line drawings, richness and tonal qualities of color, paper and ink selection, difficulty of printing, and overall visual impact, among other criteria.

Em won the award for its Winter 2014 issue.
