Gift cards for transportation survey participants

Emerson’s full-time undergraduate students and staff members are eligible to win a variety of prizes this week by participating in a transportation survey mandated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).

A $400 Apple gift card is the grand raffle prize for student participants.

Raffle prizes for staff include Visa gift cards between $50 and $100. The biannual Rideshare Transportation Survey takes five minutes to complete and all submissions are anonymous.

The survey is used by the state to learn about transportation choices of full-time staff and full-time undergraduate students at all colleges of a certain size. The information collected helps state officials find ways to alleviate the number of cars on the road, improve public transportation, and provide alternative transportation choices in Massachusetts.

In addition to the Apple gift card, other prizes for student participants include a $100 Wilbur Theatre gift certificate, $50 American Apparel gift card, and an MBTA pass for one semester. There are also gift cards to Starbucks, Thinking Cup Coffee Shop, and free tickets to Loews movie theaters and ArtsEmerson productions.
