Lacrosse player honored by coaches association

Junior midfielder Chelsea Phillips was honored by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association as an All-Region Second Team selection for 2013. The selected athletes are now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA All-American teams.

“This is a very well deserved honor for Chelsea and puts her in the company of Division III’s highest caliber players,” said head coach Megan Moore. “The talent and drive was definitely there. Our team rose to a higher level when she was on the field and that’s what makes her a leader.”
