Peter Wolf Guest DJs on Boston’s UnCommon Radio
Rock legend Peter Wolf, former front man for the J. Geils Band, will guest DJ on Boston’s UnCommon Radio, Friday, June 25, from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. The broadcast will be available live at Boston’s UnCommon Radio website.
Wolf will join Boston’s UnCommon Radio DJ Adam Nickerson, bringing in his favorite music to play and discussing his solo career and new album, Midnight Souvenirs. Selected by Boston’s UnCommon Radio as this month’s album of the month, Midnight Souvenirs, is Wolf’s seventh solo album and is receiving rave reviews. It integrates rock, R&B, blues, folk, and country and features duets with country legend Merle Haggard, Shelby Lynne, and Neko Case.
“Though original, the music has the authority of classic R&B, old-time country, Philly soul, Mississippi cotton-picker blues and more. The musicians are the finest that money can’t buy.”
