Emerson captures 2009-2010 Women’s Commissioner’s Cup
The Emerson College women’s athletic teams earned the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Commissioner’s Cup, emblematic of the top overall program in the Conference during the preceding academic year.
Emerson College captured the 2009-2010 Women’s Great Northeast Athletic Conference Commissioner’s Cup for the second year in a row. The Lions secured the Commissioner’s Cup by earning a second place finish this spring in both softball and lacrosse, earning four points each. The women’s teams collected a total of 25 points in the standings.
Emerson’s women’s cross country team and volleyball team each earned five points towards the Commissioner’s Cup with their championship win. The tennis placed third and earned three points, while the soccer team added another two points with their fourth place finish.
