DKA and Killing Calories BA Candy Fundraiser

With this fundraiser, Killing Calories and Delta Kappa Alpha decided to come together to raise awareness and money for projects that make an impact. Specifically, we are raising money for Killing Calories, a BA film written and directed by Juliana Perez, and Delta Kappa Alpha’s sponsored charity, SeriousFun Children’s Network. Killing Calories is a short film about a plus sized teenage girl’s disconnected relationship with her mother and how it influences her toxic relationship with food and forces her to rebel. Killing Calories would use this money for crafty, production design, and more. SeriousFun Children’s Network provides children with serious illnesses with an amazing camp experience and high-quality medical care.
