23rd Annual Emerson Film Festival

This year’s program will start with a showcase of short work from alums the Daniels (Daniel Scheinert ’09 and Daniel Kwan ’10); Nathaniel Hansen, MA ’04, MFA ’11; Mari Walker ’08, and Georden West, MFA ’19, followed by a 90-minute program of stellar films made by students in the last two years. There will be a brief moderated conversation with filmmakers following the screening.

A reception will take place in the Jackie Liebergott Black Box, and will include a photo exhibition from Arthur Li ’25 and a video installation from Asma Khoshmehr, MFA ’24, as well as the winners of the Audience, Best of Fest, Singular Vision, and Outstanding Technical Achievement awards.
