After 10 years of committed leadership, Rob Sabal, Dean of the School of the Arts, will be stepping down as dean on May 15 to transition to a new position as Provost at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore.
The committee plans to work throughout the summer, with the goal of welcoming a new vice president before the start of the Fall Term.
Dr. Smith has successfully led the School of Communication with fresh eyes and deep commitment to the institution for the better part of a year
