Emerson recognized faculty and staff for their dedication and achievements in a pair of recent events.

On October 28, faculty were feted in the Jackie Liebergott Black Box Theatre, where they were honored for receiving tenure and  promotions, and for years of service to the College.

“Your work prepares students not just to succeed in their fields, but to lead with integrity, vision, and humanity,” President Jay Bernhardt told faculty at the event. “Our students are incredibly fortunate to learn from scholars, artists, practitioners, and mentors who care deeply about their development as communicators and change-makers.”

The following week, on November 5, staff were recognized in the Bordy Theater for their “passion, collaboration, and commitment to excellence.”

“Here at Emerson, collaboration, knowledge, creativity – they aren’t just simply tools for our work and our profession, but they are forces that we celebrate that enrich lives,” Bernhardt told staff. “So we, as your colleagues and your community, are so fortunate to be the beneficiaries of your talent and your dedication.”
