Photos: Emersonians Come Together for 9/11 Vigil

Emerson College community members came together on the Boston Common Bandstand for the annual vigil to remember Emersonians lost on Sept. 11, 2001.

The event was created and led by Communication Studies Associate Professor and Chair Greg Payne.

Emerson College community members lost include Communication Studies Professor Myra Joy Aronson, who was aboard American Airlines Flight 11; and Jane Simpkin ’88, who was aboard United Airlines Flight 175. Several students and alums have also lost family members on the planes and in the towers.
