Donating Food to Local Students: WBZ Radio

In an ongoing collaboration with Food for Free, a local nonprofit, and the College’s dining provider Bon Appetit Management Company, leftover food from the Dining Hall is going to Boston-area students in need of food assistance prior to Winter Break.

Emerson’s Associate Director of Sustainability Jennifer Lamy:

Students really care about sustainability and giving back to the community, so it’s really nice from our point of view to be able to give food away instead of having to throw it out.
