Five Lions representing Emerson College’s men’s and women’s cross country teams, men’s and women’s soccer teams, and women’s volleyball team were named to the New England Women’s & Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC)  Sportsmanship Teams for the 2024 fall seasons.

The teams was announced on November 26. The award recognizes one student-athlete from each institution in every sport that best demonstrates the ideals of the NEWMAC and its Code of Conduct, regardless of the individual’s overall performance, achievements, or statistics for the season. The fall sportsmanship team is comprised of 72 student-athletes in the sports of men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, football, men’s and women’s soccer, and volleyball.
