Emerson College Announces New Housing Initiative with ProArts Partner

Emerson College announces a new partnership with Boston Architectural College (BAC) that will provide a mutually beneficial housing arrangement in the upcoming academic year.

Emerson had open housing available in its first-year residence hall, the Little Building, while Boston Architectural College, a long-time partner through the Professional Arts Consortium (ProArts), required additional bed-spaces to house their students this academic year. As a result, the two institutions developed a strategic partnership to meet these needs.

This initiative aligns with Emerson’s commitment to support the broader educational community in Boston, and ensure that all students have access to safe and comfortable living arrangements. Emerson will offer a floor in the Little Building for BAC students, alleviating their housing shortage while also optimizing Emerson’s campus resources. BAC will continue to provide all academic and student support needs for their students, but those residing on the campus will be held to the same standards, policies, and procedures as an Emerson student.

Emerson College values our involvement in the ProArts Consortium partners and looks forward to this new one-year partnership.
