Simpson on Living His Dream at WERS: WBZ

WERS General Manager and alum Howard “D” Simpson ’94 is profiled on local CBS affiliate WBZ, rising from a listener of the radio station decades ago to the GM role in 2021.

Simpson says his is most proud of creating ERS+, Boston’s Black Experience, featuring R&B and hip hop. The Boston Business Journal recently highlighted its success, three years after its inception.
