Screening of ‘Israelism’ Postponed until February

Emerson College is postponing the Bright Lights Cinema series screening of Isrealism, previously scheduled for Thursday, November 9. This decision was made in order to allow time for the Emerson College community to hold space for internal conversations and dialogue before hosting a public screening and discussion. With lives still being lost in Gaza and Israel, we could not have a safe and productive public conversation at this time.

We have rescheduled this screening and conversation with the filmmakers, Sam Eilertsen and Erin Axelman, for Thursday, February 1. Although the cinema will remain dark on November 9, Sam and Erin will be hosting a virtual screening and dialogue for those interested on November 5 at 7:00 pm, details available at https://www.israelismfilm.com/screenings

Please direct any questions about the postponement to communications@emerson.edu.
