Dear Emerson Community,
Emerson College is pleased to announce the creation of a new fund to help support international students. This new fund will supplement the Student Assistance Fund, which was established in 2017 to support all students who may be struggling with the incidental costs of being a student.
The International Student Assistance Fund, brought to fruition through the generous support of a lead donor, is being offered this Fall 2022 semester with the goal of providing support to international students facing financial challenges associated with being an enrolled college student. Small grants will be made available to approved applicants in order to assist with purchasing course materials, transportation costs, meals, personal items, and more.
The College continues to work to support the needs of our community. This additional fund is only the beginning of what we hope will be multiple long-term efforts to provide new means of financial assistance for our students.
