Writing, Literature and Publishing Assistant Professor Susanne Althoff writes in Fortune.com about how few of the top bestselling books in 2020 were written by women.
She illustrated her point in a very interesting way:
Of the year’s 200 bestselling business books, only 17 were written by women. That’s equal to the number of business bestsellers written by men named John or Jon.
Althoff’s new book Launching While Female: Smashing the System that Holds Women Entrepreneurs Back, takes a microscope to the obstacles that prevent women from starting their own ventures, and what can be done to help them.
