Mail Your Ballots NOW! (We’ve Got the Stamps)
Hi,
The presidential election date is Tuesday, November 3, less than two weeks from today. If you’re mailing in a ballot, we strongly suggest that you send it as soon as possible to ensure that you meet the deadline for your voting area. Check out your state’s info at How to Vote.
If you need postage, come to one of these locations with your ballot. We’ll give you stamps and you can take your ballot directly to a blue postal box on Boylston or Tremont!
- 172 Tremont: Visit the student worker station at the desk just around the corner from entry security.
- Campus Life suite at Walker 411: Stop by during regular business hours (9:00 am – 5:00 pm on weekdays). HEADS-UP: The suite door will be closed. Please knock and someone will help you.
To those of you voting for the first time, congratulations. To all of you who have voted or will vote, thank you for participating in one of our most important civic responsibilities. Strikingly, more than 10 times the voters aged 18-29 have voted through absentee ballot or early voting than at this point four years ago, with over half a million casting votes in one of 13 key states. It’s a privilege to know that my vote will be counted alongside that of so many other Emersonians who are informed and engaged in the life of our democracy.
Take care,
Jim Hoppe
Vice President and Dean for Campus Life
