President Pelton on COVID-19 Impact: Boston Globe

President Pelton added his perspective to a Boston Globe article describing how local leaders are conducting businesses during this uncertain time, and lessons they are learning.

I grew up in a Midwestern working-class family that moved from … working-class poor to working class, and I am grateful and sympathetic to the people at Emerson who must remain on campus to work. I feel an ethical obligation to be on campus with them.

[The pandemic] will have an impact that will last a lifetime, just as people who went through a Great Depression.
