Elma Lewis Center Community-Centered Grants

Dear Community members,

The Elma Lewis Center invites students, staff, faculty, and off-campus community members working with social justice projects or courses to apply for a Community-Centered Grant. This grant is intended to support partnerships rooted in authentic relationships that center community-based knowledge, needs, and aspirations.

This grant is especially intended to support projects or courses that seek to provide material relief for community members and/or project collaborators while also working to dismantle systems of oppression, leading to sustainable liberatory practices.

Projects can be local, national, or international. Please complete the application form by December 5.

Applicants will be notified by December 15. Grants will range from $250-$850. Funds must be used by the end of the Spring 2020 semester for fiscal reporting purposes.
