Sidewalk Construction Update

Dear Emerson Community:

The work schedule for the Boylston Street sidewalk project next week will be from Monday, October 28, to Friday, November 1. The work hours will be Monday – Thursday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with an evening shift added to Thursday from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am to remove concrete and stones off site. Friday during the day will involve work related to a new waterproofing system.

The work for next week will include:  

• Continuation of demo to the existing sidewalk 
• Remove existing waterproofing and granite curbing
• Mobilization of site with equipment at 114-116 Boylston St. ( in front of bookstore)
• Removal and load out of concrete and stones off site
