Announcing the new Associate Dean of Student Life and Administration for Emerson Los Angeles
I am very pleased to announce that Tim Chang will be joining Emerson College Los Angeles as the new Associate Dean of Student Life and Administration on February 4.
In this position, Tim will be involved in the administering and planning of several areas that supports students and the student experience, including Student Life, Transitional Life Programming, IT Infrastructure, Facilities, Security, and more.
Tim joins us from the Loyola Marymount University School of Education, where he was the Associate Dean for Business Services in the School of Education. In his role, Tim was responsible for customer service, human resources, facilities planning, information technology, enrollment management, and financial management in support of the academic mission of the School of Education. Prior to that, Tim was the Associate Dean of Students at Occidental College and the Senior Director of Institute Housing and Auxiliary Services at Caltech.
Tim holds a B.A. from Bradley University in Psychology and an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University. Tim is very excited to join Emerson’s creative and talented community.
