Tony-Nominated Director/Alumna To Speak to Students
Director Sheryl Kaller ’82, who was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Director in 2010, is coming back to the Emerson College campus to speak to students.
A Tony Award-nominated director and alumna of Emerson College will come to campus on Monday, October 26, to discuss her work in the theater.
Joining Sheryl Kaller ’82 is Winnie Holzman, writer of the hit musical Wicked. Kaller and Holzman are in Boston for the Huntington Theatre Company’s production of Holzman’s new play, Choice, directed by Kaller and featuring Ken Cheeseman, Emerson Performing Arts senior artist-in-residence.
The pair will speak at the Semel Theater from 12:00 to 1:45 pm.
Kaller has Broadway credits that include Mothers and Sons and Next Fall by Geoffrey Nauffts, for which she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Director.
Choice runs through November 15 at the Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts.
