Women’s Soccer beats Newbury in opener

The Emerson College Women’s Soccer Team opened its season with a bang on September 1, with a resounding 6–0 victory over Newbury College.

The Lions put plenty of pressure on the Newbury defense and were finally rewarded in the 32nd minute, when Paige Haley ’19 dodged a would-be defender and created her own space for the first goal of the match in the first contest of her career.
