Emerson LA acting students host showcase

Students from the Business of Acting class at Emerson College Los Angeles displayed their talents in a showcase at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles on December 9. The student-produced showcase, “New Hollywood,” also served as the final project for the 11 students, who performed a variety of scenes—from films such as Easy A and Annie Hall—which ended with students singing an acoustic version of Lady Gaga’s song “Edge of Glory.”

Assistant Professor Brad Lemack, who teaches the class, was on hand to witness his students’ performances. At the end of the night, both Lemack and Assistant Professor Kay Cole, who directed the showcase, received a bouquet of flowers from the students.
