Kill the Messenger, starring Jeremy Renner, is a dramatic thriller based on the true story of journalist Gary Webb, who stumbles onto a story that leads to shady origins of the men who started the crack epidemic on the nation’s streets—and further alleges the CIA was aware of major dealers smuggling cocaine into the United States.
