Reenergized Emerson LA Film Festival Oct. 10-11

The reenergized Emerson Los Angeles Film Festival will unite students, faculty, and alumni October 10–11 with a mix of screenings and workshops that pay tribute to a wide breadth of student and alumni work and include insights from industry leaders.

The festival, which highlights the creative spaces of the new Emerson College Los Angeles on Sunset Boulevard, also features an animation session for children, a demonstration of emerging 4K digital media technology, an alumni film competition, award ceremony, and talks about the video game industry and social media marketing, among other events.

The festival begins Friday, October 10, at 7:00 pm with the Los Angeles premiere of Give Me the Banjo, a film directed by Associate Professor Marc Fields, of Visual and Media Arts, which includes a cocktail reception.

Participants are invited to join a team from ELA who will participate in the 30th annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles on Sunday, October 12.
